Traveline Tim - Promotional Identity

Traveline Tim - He,s the Wheel Deal!

Representatives from the public transport industry from all over the UK arrived in Swansea in July to meet Wales’ new mascot for public transport information. Joining them was the Head of Integrated Transport, Mr Colin Eaketts to underline the Assembly’s backing for Wales’ unique travel information service. The new face of public transport information is an animated character called Traveline Tim - the Travel Information Man.

Plum Design & Advertising created Traveline Tim to help deliver the message that Traveline Cymru has a new telephone number. For all public transport information in Wales, callers can ring 0871 200 22 33* to speak to friendly bilingual. Jo Horton, Marketing Manager at PTI Cymru said: “We are thrilled to have launched the newest member of our team and hope Traveline Tim gives public transport information in Wales a new friendly face.
