Freelance Web Designer

Plum Design and Advertising is looking for freelance web designers based in south Wales.

It would be preferable for the person to work in our Swansea studio.

You should have strong web design skills and technically have extenisve experience of CSS, CSS3, HTML, Responsive Web Design and Adobe software products such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver.

As Web Designer you should have a good understanding of web usability best practices to optimise content and to improve performance.

Creative Freelance Graphic Designer

Plum Design is looking for an experienced Creative Freelance Graphic Designer, ideally someone who is able to work in our studio in Swansea.

You must be able to demonstrate a high level of original and imaginative creative work, and be great at expressing your ideas for both consumer and business to business clients. You’ll also need competent Mac skills and knowledge of industry standard software.

You’ll be happy working on your own or as part of a team; you’ll be versatile, have an eye for detail and, needless to say, a well developed sense of humour.

If this sounds like you and you’ve at least 4 years design agency experience with a first class portfolio to be proud of, then we’d love to hear from you.

To qualify, you will need to be a talented Creative Designer with a CV and portfolio that demonstrates:

  • Design Disciplines: Graphics, Advertising, Branding, Illustration & Print
  • Ability to work independently from supplied brief, identify key messages and deliver creative work
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Highly organised, and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Creative Typographic skills
  • Adhering to quality checks and sign-off procedures
  • Working with client brand guidelines
  • Great attention to detail and good time management
  • Experience in the production cycle - from brief to delivery
  • Fluent in Quark, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator - It would be advantageous if you have worked in Premier, After Effects or Cinema 4D.

Freelance Artworker

Plum Design is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Freelance Artworker, ideally someone who is able to work in our studio in Swansea.

Reporting to an account manager, you must be capable of multi-tasking under pressure with natural skills for typography and a good eye for detail. The artworker key responsibilities will be to produce work, for both consumer and business to business clients. You’ll also need competent Mac skills and knowledge of industry standard software.
